Chapter Five

Kross

As I lifted my head off the pillow, I knew right then I fucked up and had way too much to drink last night. Not only did I have too much to drink, but my ass also wasn't in my bad, which made me jump up and look around the room. When my eyes landed on Brea, I wondered what the fuck did I do and how the hell did I end up here. Although I was a bit dizzy, I snatched the covers off her ass so that she could get the fuck up and explain how and why I was here.

"Bitch I should really murk your conniving, dumb ass! Where the fuck are my keys, hoe?" I barked at her stupid ass after I found my clothes folded up on a chair in the corner, shaking my head, thinking that this bitch really looney.

"I'm sorry, Kross," she apologized as I turned to grab my keys and my phone. This hoe must have powered off.

"You have to be a sick individual to take advantage of intoxicated dick! You see, I don't want your ass when I'm sober, so why would you pull this shit?" I continued to fuss at Brea as I slipped my shirt on and ran up out of her shit.

When I got into my truck, I powered my phone on, and all the calls and text messages from Bella, Ma Dukes, and my brothers were coming through. Not giving it any thought, I called Bella back first because she had to hear what the fuck went down.

"Nigga, you have to be out yo' damn mind to think you gonna move a bitch out here just to pull some dumb shit like you just pulled!" she screamed into the phone as soon as she picked up.

"Bella, listen to me and listen to me closely. That bitch Brea did something to my drinks last night at the club—" I started to explain and was cut off by Bella.

"The fuck that bitch doing fixing a drink for you, Kross?" she questioned in an angry tone, and by this time, I could tell she was up pacing the floor or something.

"This bitch works at the strip club we went to, and the girl working the section must have helped her do whatever because she didn't even come near us," I continued pleading my case to Bella, praying she believed me.

"Bye, Kross, I don't want to know anything else because I know I'm going to kill you and that bitch," Bella fumed with finality and disconnected the call.

I thought about calling my brothers, but I opted out of doing that. I didn't feel like hearing their jokes right now. Before going home, I gave the on-call doctor a call so that he could check a nigga out and see what the fuck that dumb ass broad slipped on my ass last night. As I tried to put a call into his ass, he didn't answer, so I shot him a text message.
